Although it shouldn't be significant, I often think about what will be my last photo of the year or my first photo of the year. I hadn't been paying attention after the new year, so this one ends up being the first photo from my camera for 2008.

My sister took it at her birthday dinner while I was fiddling with her brand new camera. It's funny how pictures of me often are out-of-focus, and I wonder if I'm not ending up like Mel from Deconstructing Harry...
