Muskoka, Canada

Trip to Muskoka with Katie on October 8, 2005

Muskoka is a region in Ontario, Canada with lots of lakes and resorts.  The fall colour in this region is said to be one of the most beautiful in the province.

We visited the towns of Gravenhurst and Huntsville.  In Huntsville we stopped at Hunter's Bay (first pic), the Lion's Lookout park (second pic), and went on a short steam train ride.

In gravenhurst we visited gull lake, and lake muskoka where we cruised on a historic Steamboat.

Our place on Skeleton Lake is about 20 minutes from where you were. It is indeed heaven on earth. Today there is about 4 feet of snow.........
