Starting the prep work.

Some freshly slaughtered cow.

She's ready to start chopping!

Bell peppers.

Market fresh pineapple :).

Cube it!

Not too big!

Almost done!

Keep on going!

The beef and pork chopped and ready!

Start loading them up!

Don't forget the beef!

Keep going!

Almost done with the first one!

Time to start the fire.

Tram has NO idea what she is doing.

I let her keep going ehhehe.

Prepping the small wood.

A heavy clay pot is used to hold the charcoal.

Keep working on it...

Getting ready to add paper!

She's about to find out it is not going to work!

The paper is on fire...

I had to rearrange everything so that it would catch.

Getting there.

Fire started!

And again!

Awwwwwl.

Too much smoke in my face so I borrowed her moto mask thing.

Stoked!

We're up and blazing!

Grill top installed!

Soooooo beautiful!

Tram just had to keep fanning the fire...

Getting there.

Where's my lid or some foil??

DONE! Get the rice!

Some leftovers grillin' away!

Time to eat!

Soooooo good!

The last time I was in Vietnam I taught Tram how to cook ka-bobs.  Today she wanted to do it again because they are just SOOOO! good.  We used bell peppers, onions, beef, pork, pineapple and a couple Vietnam foods that I am not familiar with.
