Frederick Doors

September 16, 2007: Tony and I took a walk with our dog Lucy in the old town area of Frederick, Maryland. We live about 6 miles from this lovely town. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed taking these photos.

You have such a good eye for capturing things. Doors in Frederick are much more colorful than those in Old Town Alexandria.

I wish I could take the same walk close to my home. I'd do it every day. Loved the doors.

Wow, thanks for the compliments everyone! It really was a beautiful day yesterday. Frederick is a great place to visit. Some of the shops are 'dog friendly' so we were able to bring Lucy in to shop with us. It will be interesting to see how the residents will decorate their doors for the upcoming holidays. Hmmmm, I might have to do a winter door tabblo.

Thanks again! This tabblo does make me want to see more of my city and really get to know it. This weekend we're supposed to have wonderful weather, so I might do some exploring.

Hi Cathy,

Tony and I were actually in town but I left the camera at home. Had a great dinner at a Japanese place and the town was hopping with people. Frederick really has grown! See you in a couple of weeks! Monica
