My favourite two-fer...

Two bundles of mischief, a TWO-FER for sure! Meet litter kids, Sophie (in red) and Finnegan, about six months old.

Lovely bundles too.I had been waiting to see your little joys for a long time Noreen. They are so sweet.I love the way one of Finnegan's ear is cocked up and Sophie's are seemingly blown behind by the sea breeze. I didn't understand the two-fer bit. Is that the breed they belong to?

Whoops..i forgot..that's the group Pam has started. I kept wondering what it could mean and it finally struck me! LOL...by the way what breeds are these?

Noreen, This is a great shot! Love their names. LOL on Woody's comment, but maybe Finnegan is Irish? :D

A great "buddies" shot or is it a "stroll through life together" one?
Hollyridger said at 10:03 a.m. on Jun 5, 2007:
Thank you all for your lovely comments! Woody, you are sort of right. I am the one with the British accent but I am having a hard time influencing the dachsies! Vince, they are standard wire-haired dachsunds, one year old at the end of this month. Actually Finnegan lives nearby with the breeder. Some of you will have seen Sophie's basset hound brother, Bentley, in other tabblos.

They definitely look like they are on their way to mischief, as you say. So much personality in this photo!

Ingrid, Tammy and Nancy - thank you all so much for looking and for your lovely comments. I am trying to take a leaf out of Tammy's book, so to speak, and respond when people take the time to leave comments! Tammy, you are so good at acknowledging people's comments which is so nice.

LOL! Oh, this is definately a favourite for me! Everytime I look at it I smile and laugh. Action shots of short-legged dogs don't give you very many clues that they are actually action shot, but you have everything here, - the ears flopping, the fur around the muzzle drawn back, and of course, the raised paws, ... love how you captured Sophie's paw up in front of her so that you can see the pads! ...Perfect! :) Fizz says Hi!
Hollyridger said at 10:10 a.m. on Jun 8, 2007:
Dar, you are one of only a very few who have noticed the pads of Sophie's front right paw. She is so well camouflaged it is hard to see and, as you mentioned, short-legged dogs in action are hard to capture. Sophie says hi to Fizz!

Thanks for the visit, Jeff! Yes, I am not surprised you like this picture - it is your kind of style only dogs, not horses!
