now that it's a lot warmer (here in NY anyway), it's not so painful looking at the winter scenes anymore. In fact, looking at your gorgeous scapes is downright enjoyable!

I love the image captioned "snow and sand amalgamation". It looks like the top of a good cup of hot choolate that hopefully you found at the end of your outing. Great shots!

Beautiful shots, but I must say that I'm glad that kind of weather is over for the season. Nice job!

Woody, I really like this new fresh layout. Nice atmosphere. Lovely photos. Yasmine's red coat and blue boots are the perfect touch of color.

thank you everyone, i appreciate all your comments. =) CHRISTINA: yes we can now smile and laugh about it! BOB: there are those who claim that on a clear day they can actually see the chicago skyline! i will give them the benefit of the doubt! NOREEN: those were my thoughts exactly! my daughter was thinking more in the line of a chocolate-vanilla ice-cream twirl...but i had to veto that! ANNELIES: good thing its spring now! DEE: yes, im finally seeing some green on the trees! KEN: yeah me too! PAM: yes i realized that after downloading these to the computer, we hadnt planned it that way!

The pictures of the snow and the sand together are so neat. I love the solitude and serenity of these pictures.

this is very...documentary. I feel like it should be set to some moody indie rock with a cracky raspy young girl narrating it. I love the color of the boots, coat, and hat against the neutral beach scene.
Ira said at 8:59 a.m. on May 16, 2008:
Surprising tabblo. Lifeless and cold places. The loneliness is very much emphasized by photos the girl. So is deserted!
