a mouse encounter

As I was leaving the office today, I noticed our little mouse friend waiting just outside the elevator.  The last time I saw him, several Tabbloers and interns failed to catch him.  He scurried away as if he were the reincarnation of Jerry (of Tom & Jerry fame).

 

This time he was more subdued because he appears to be injured.  I took a bunch of pictures, and he started to hop away, but he was limping severely.  Although I could've easily captured him in his impaired state, I decided to leave him in peace.

 

I wish him luck and hope he survives the unforgiving landscape of 810 Memorial Drive.  I look forward to his full recovery and future thwarting of our attempts to catch him.

Above, he hops away from me before giving up and resting near the bathroom...

Awwww, you spared the rodent.... it's sweet in a sick kind of way. I'd say he needs to be put out of his misery and then cry while doing it.

I saw him in the same place and in the same condition about a month ago so I guess he's figured out how to hold on. I can't imagine what he lives on given the pristine, crumb-free nature of our offices!

you guys better treat him right! if you need to catch him do it the most humane way.Just google and find out .they are nicer traps around these days.

and if something happens and if he is really sick ,you dont want to touch Mr. Jingle with bare hands PLEASE wear plastic gloves and then get rid of the gloves ,a mask also would do it.TRUST ME!

the little fella looks like he might be experiencing a tummy ache...it may be kinder to flush him down the loo...poor guy. and i agree with Banafsheh, gloves are necessary.

This is such a sad Tabblo....at least you made it surrounded by cheery red color :D.....I hope he isn't spreading germies to all y'alls.....but if he is, maybe they are cute germies.....:D
