Lost Buildings of Los Angeles

Sometimes they are lost because people only look ahead and not up. Sometimes they are lost because they are crumbling and have been abandonned. And sometimes they were lost, but have been rediscovered.

These photos were all taken within less than a mile radius downtown centering around 7th and Hill. My favorite street is Broadway, but nearly all of the surrounding streets have beautiful buildings. I particularly enjoy some of the numbered streets like 7th, 8th, and 9th, between Figueroa and Main, because there are many forgotton buildings there that haven't been discovered and gentrified by the loft folks.

Really nice photo's! I love old building facades ! I also enjoy touring old graveyards, like Magnolia Cemetery
in Mobile AL. Hope to see more of these.
