Very beautiful coast. Cosy tavern for the seagull. Absence of a civilization and set of meal. Very beautiful photos

There are a lot of taverns in this place, ANDRE. From the room at the back of the one pictured you can look out to sea across the harbour. I'm sure you'd like it.

Leftofcenter said at 4:14 p.m. on Nov 4, 2009:
steak pie yess! seagulls always remind me of home, the town where my mom lives in Holland by the (North) sea... they can get very aggressive when they want some of yr fries (or chips as you say in England) not supposed to feed them..........................
Waltinho said at 4:42 p.m. on Nov 4, 2009:
MIke, his way of photographing is marvellous!!!

One of the best parts of tabblo is interacting, both reading comments, and leaving them: Thanks for yours, ROSANE, RHONDA, ANNELIE, and WALTER.
EMA said at 6:28 p.m. on Nov 4, 2009:
So nice! I love seagulls. Their flight against the wind and their screaming sounds. I love to see them resting on the sand or the pier in the afternoon... Beautiful tabblo, Mike!

A fest for the eyes indeed. Wonderful action shots :)
Wildthing said at 5:30 p.m. on Nov 5, 2009:
DEB: Read somewhere how much litter/garbage is dumped at sea, as well as on land. Nowhere is safe from those who do not care; the truly careless. Glad you liked the fest.

LORRAINE: Shots that you will now get with your new camera, 'Mr. Big' :)
AdSR said at 12:03 p.m. on Nov 6, 2009:
Great stuff, great stuff. That single gull in #6 - its feathers look like a pencil sketch you'd see in an art museum.
Wildthing said at 12:44 p.m. on Nov 6, 2009:
I appreciate your comment, ARTUR. I love to try and freeze birds in flight.

Fly silly seabird
No dreams can possess you
No voices can blame you
For sun on your wings
My gentle relations
Have names they must call me
For loving the freedom
Of all flying things
My dreams with the seagulls fly
Out of reach out of cry

Perfect day for a wonderful photographer! Thanks much, Mike!
Wildthing said at 3:26 a.m. on Nov 8, 2009:
Thank you, FOGUINHO, LINDA, and FABIO.
Joni Mitchell's words go well with the pics, Linda. It must be nice to fly free, unencumbered by dreams and schemes, living in the moment.

Your Gull-Fest is beautiful Mike!
Wildthing said at 3:22 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
Birds, especially in flight, fascinate me, Louise.
PhotoPop said at 8:23 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
Mike, I know you love those seagulls while I take an opposite view of them. I see them for the residue the leave on the chimney. But I would agree that their grace when flying IS something to watch.
Wildthing said at 8:27 a.m. on Nov 9, 2009:
Yeah, they're messy, JOHN. But more graceful than planes, and deposit a lot less dangerous waste:)
