Isola e Basilica di S.Pietro di Castello, cattedrale fino al 1807, quando il titolo passo' a S.Marco  Questa parte di Venezia e' la piu' antica, dove arrivarono i primi abitanti che scappavano dai barbari.

Island and Basilica di S.Pietro di Castello, cathedral till 1807, when S.Marco got the title. This is the most ancient part of Venezia, where the first inhabitants came,  running away from the continent due to the barbarian's invasion.
