PASSING OF A FELLOW TABBLOER

I received a email today from the family of Brian Doyle.  He passed away November 5, 2008.  His family has asked me to let everyone know of his passing.  Please remove his name from your circles so his family doesn't have to deal with responses.  He will be sadly missed by his family and also all of us here on Tabblo.  May he rest in peace.

I am saddened and shocked by the news, Doreen. You have posted a lovely tribute to Brian's memory. My condolences to his family.

It is so sad Mike, His family told me that it was so very sad when he went to shoot photos, that he couldn't even hold the camera.

It is very sad. And thoughtful of you to do this, Mom. My condolences to his family, and any one here at tabblo who knew him. ... It's bad enough to lose a friend, I just can't imagine what it would be like to lose one you've never met in person.

I guess I sorta always knew one day this would happen (and likely more so as time goes by) Doreen. This is just a BEAUTIFUL memorial for Brian and tho' I do not remember him now or his USERNAME...MY SINCERE and heartfelt sympathies to his family, if even a year later. So many of you who DID KNOW him well, also my sympathies.

Received email from Gwen, family of Brian Doyle, and she wanted to thank each and every one of you for your lovely words of condolences. I am not sure is she is his wife or daughter and I really don't want to pry. She is very touched by this tabblo.

Hi everyone,
Brian was my father. Gwen is my mum. She had told me about this, but I hadnt logged on to see it as I had forgotten my log in. I've inherted Dads camera, which I am fairly sure is still very much possessed of his spirit, as the types of pictures he used to take are the only ones which seem to turn out. However we are slowly coming to an agreement. ;-)
Thank you so much for your lovely comments about my Dad, he truely was a special man and I miss him very much. He loved playing around with the Tabblos, and we used to have lovely conversations about what he was going to put in them. Many of the flower shots he took in my garden when he came down on holidays.
Thanks once again for all your heartfelt comments. It always astounds me the influence people say he had on them....he never thought he did.

Hi Zelda, now I remember Tassie_gal, my apologies for now getting everything right. I hope you are going to continue here with tabblo so we all can see the beautiful shots that you and Brian had posted here. He is very much missed here too, his pictures were wonderful. He had sent me an under water shot for my desktop and I was very pleased. Hope to see you soon Tassie_gal.
