The first time I saw one of these birds in flight I gasped so loudly our guide drove into a pot-hole! He said that a guest had never caused hime to drive into a pot-hole before! I am an enthusiast and from then on I tried to keep my enthusiasm under control! This picture is special to me, because the Lilac-breasted Roller is a very special bird in Botswana and because I thought to capture two together like this was amazing! We only ever saw individuals after this. |

We saw this vast herd of Buffalo from a distance because of the amount of dut they kick up. This picture at sunset with the sihouettes of the Buffalo in the dust really appeals to me. |

Our guide had tracked three lionesses in the hope of finding this 5 month old cub and its sibling, but they were nowhere to be seen. The lionesses were resting about half a mile away from the young ones who were found because two passing giraffe were looking down with interest at something! We had enormous respect for our guides! I just love this picture! |

I was so thrilled to capture this picture. The elephants were making a mock charge (apparentlty if the trunk is hanging loosely it is not too serious!). As first timers to the safari experience it was pretty scary as well as exhilerating. We had total trust in our guide, we rather assumed he was as keen to stay safe as we were! |

We were so fortunate to see a Leopard at each of our three camps. I did not get particularly good pictures at the first two camps but on our last morning (we flew back to London the same evening) our guide found this beautiful cat and I was delighted to get such a good picture of this wonderful creature! |
