inspiered by Noreen´s "thingies"

When i saw Noreen´s tabblo "insulating the sun" and read Noe´s comment that i have one of htese "thingies" a had to take the camara...Although i turned it up side down and transformed it to a base for this handpainted egg a friend of mine painted with oilpainting some years ago...By the way: What is the real name of these "thingies"?

Hey, Karsten, this is pretty cool! These thingies are called "insulators", hence the title of my tabblo! The painting on the egg is fantastic.

Karsten--your Thingies are most excellent. And I'm sure you built the beautiful wooden base. I guess I'm responsible for calling Noreen's Insulators "thingies." (I learned that word from Leftie). So I just got out my thingie and dusted it off to takes some photos of it. You and Noreen have both inpired me. :)
