dearest Rhonda...thank you again for this very much needed feast for my eyes..(living in a condo is NOT conducive to a garden just planters and jorges catgrass box:-)) but I AM growing a vegie garden at my Dad's house (sshh! it was really for him to watch grow and water - and eat some healthy vegies too!) Some day, one day ....i'll get to have a REAL GARDEN and Jorge a yard full of grass and flowers like this to smell as he loves to like your hidden kitity! (smile) I dedicate these beauties to my mom's last living sibling/sister who's in a coma now after a severe stroke yesterday...my godmother auntie Irene....she's sleeping now and i'm glad i could bring her lilacs and angel bears and hold her hand...these past 3 months in hospital...YOU'VE MADE ME SMILE THRU SOME TEARS...God bless one and all! xo Patty

Your garden must be heaven on earth... it is so very beautiful!!!
Welshchick said at 11:27 a.m. on Jul 27, 2009:
Thank you - you just can't go wrong with hydrangea Scotty~but I'm partial toward them of course... they need water water water when it's hot but they stay gorgeous until WINTER if you treat them right...they change their colors to match the season...but they get big and need lottsa room to show off...not happy in planters~The neighbor's cat was watching the hummingbirds with intense interest! Thank you Jodi...it's a little corner of heaven I think...in the morning and the evenings especially...with the sweetness and honeybees and butterflies... and the love that grows here...yes, it definitely qualifies as celestial~ just ask the hummingbirds! :^)

Thank you Robbi~ the bright blues and purples have turned faded and grey now-even though I watered them well...I will keep tended them though because when the weather starts turning cold...they start their magic again and turn vibrant and interesting again...STAY COOL MY FRIEND!
