A special bonding day for the Kabombis!  Was picked up at Jollibee Carmona by couple K-Babie (Camillah) and Jerry Concepcion.

Invited balikbayan Batchmate Kilabot Catalino Flores to bond with us so he can represent a Kabombi whom he had a short romantic relationship with.  Jeje...

Although he had a ride with him, Kilabot joined us in the Concepcion car.  So we can have an early chat.   He is sweet -- our Kilabot!

At the gate peeking out was Kabombi Milette who arrived from the States to visit ailing Mama.

Milette's Mama happy to see her daughter's friends and with pasalubongs -- Nini's Puto Binan and Babie's Special Haleyang Ube!

Arrival of Kabombi Minnie who is based in La Union and Kabombi Adem who we had been looking for for the longest time turned out to be in Los Banos all along.  Jajaja!

It was a really happy meeting!  We haven't seen each other for years and only reconnected last month.

The happy bunch including Milette's Mom who became talkative and more active because of the happy chatter around her.

We were terribly loud and noisy! 

Alex and Alvin, Lino's nephew, who joined the Kabombis!

Reunion of college dorm friends.... lost touch for years and now found time to be together..

Adem and Alex Castro found love the second time around! 

What a pair!  Together, they are looking forward to a life of joy and bliss!

And yes, love is great when  respect and affection continually flows!

The yummy dishes we feasted on at Palaisdaan:  the basket of seafoods gifted by Resort owner and Milette's Friend and my tukayo Nini; crispy tilapia; sinigang na hipon; inihaw na pusit, kinilaw na tanguigue and kolawo (the eggplant/garlic/onions with coco milk  from roasted grated coconut  especially prepared for K-Babie by Milette's cousin).

The bonding had many so much laughter, joy and teasing spiced with juicy gossip about non-kabombis.  Jeje!

Coffee was a welcome interruption!

Each had stories to tell, sad and happy!  Indeed, the years gone by are sweeter and responsible for how we turned out  to be - strong, determined, dedicated, funny and loving women!

Happy to see each other and to find that nothing much has changed,  only the waistlines!

This bonding moment made us realize that being Kabombis was the highlight of our stay at Women's Dorm.

A welcome visit from the Resort Owner, Nini, who is Milette's neighbor and friend.  A balikbayan who returned and decided it was time to give back and help San Pablo be the place to be!

Surrounded by these women who were once acquaintances and now his friends.   Jejeje...

Regaled the Kabombis with his past and present!   And what a storyteller he was.  He kept us in stitches!  Despite his wealth and success, he is humble and sweet!  His wife is one lucky woman!

Kabombis Babie and Minnie happy just to listen to Adem's life and love stories.  Jejeje.... Tuksuhan blues and a few teary-eyed moments when mention of past loves cropped up! Lots of Hayyy and Haha moments for the Kabombis!

Still, she survived and thrived and now enjoying God's blessings of healthy kids, loving spouse and successful career!

God has been good to the Concepcions! One Kabombi whose marriage is as hard as a rock and as strong as the Central Bank!

Love abound in their hearts and in their home, both are successful in their fields and are extremely proud of their Three Marias!

The Kabombis (five out of ten is a good number) --- women of substance and happiness !

MINNIE, ADEM, BABIE, NINI and MILETTE....  together again after years of silence. 

Yes, the more than three decades of friendship, indeed, will be continued  with His blessing!

From the Resort back to Milette's house, to cap the evening of bonding with a sip of buko juice, a bite of buko meat, and a slice of the yummy chocolate cake.  Kain ulit!

The story telling continued.  And the day is at an end. Another hayy moment because of the short time spent together. 

Terribly missed were K-Geline and K- Arthur!

Minnie animatedly telling her European travel tales.... funny, delightful and truly informative stories! 

And the santols Jerry gave me as pasalubong for my kids!

Another day of bonding leaves us longing for more.... and so another day was set....
