Enjoying these 7 wasaaabiii images with my coffee. The singer sewing machine shot is killer.

4:08--very cool. The bike/umbrella/windows--love the composition. All these random images make for a serendipitous Tabblo.

7 shots of lonely shings!
7+4+8=19 [all numbers on your tabblo]
wot DA!

love your son David(?) pix and singer machine!
Leftofcenter said at 4:28 p.m. on Jul 4, 2009:
19= 1+9 = 10 = 1 my other favorite number.

no, that's not David. it's a complete stranger eating "pho" (noodle soup) in a vietnamese restaurant. i have 4 more shots of him. i was writing a story about him in my head. why was he there eating alone?

#2 was in front of the NUSANTARA museum in Delft/Holland. It's a museum about INDONESIA. and leaning against the wall under the window is a typical DUTCH bike. and that's my personal back story...

#3 is the lake 10 minutes from where I live. 8pm, cloudy, total zen.

4:08 is "sleepless in montreal".

and the SINGER is someone's mom old sewing machine. not mine. Thanks everyone, love u guys, this tabblo was partly to redeem myself from that insane jazz fest palooza :)

"...and the SINGER is someone's mom old sewing machine. not mine."???????
no mention of little sister's garden...I actually found this SINGER on the streets in Prague when I was back there on holidays...the men that were emptying the house urged me to take it when I was staring at it...I never usually take garbage from the street...but in this case...why not... we had lunch the day before in a restaurant where all the tables were made out of the base of these singer machines.. in de drawers I found counterfeit money and jewellery...so much for just someone's mom...
Lifequest22 said at 5:50 p.m. on Jul 7, 2009:
Wasabiii---thanks for the background on the sewing machine, Carine...It looks great in your garden. Well, amiga--guess she nailed you. LOL
Leftofcenter said at 6:48 p.m. on Jul 7, 2009:
oops. well, there u have it guys, the story behind the SINGER machine. it was in my sister's garden (in the Netherlands) and its HERS!! (maybe someone's mom in Prague??) guess I should also specify then that the photos of the Indonesian puppets in my other tab were taken in the museum you live in?? a tisket a tasket Ilost my yellow baaaasket... :)

3, 5 and 6. :) ... ... though I have to admit, I have a sudden craving for some thai food :) ... Thai food and a movie about watching a stranger and finding counterfeit money in an old singer sewing machine drawer.... ... I'm sorry I was late showing up; I didn't see this pop in; but there are benefits to coming late; you get to try to decipher the comments as well. :)
Leftofcenter said at 7:46 a.m. on Jul 8, 2009:
Dar-ling, it's Vietnamese food, not Thai (corn dogs versus pogo sticks) and you know you should never try and decipher anything on my tabs! :)
AliDar said at 12:31 p.m. on Jul 8, 2009:
I always mistake corn dogs for pogo sticks. <G> ... And I always try to decipher your tabs. I do it, just because.... :)
JuDeck said at 7:50 p.m. on Jul 8, 2009:
corn dogs?! i didn't see any corn dogs, but i did count the pictures as i was looking at them....nice 7 Lefti!, a wasabi 7 for sure.
CintiaBenedetti said at 8:03 p.m. on Jul 8, 2009:
Nice!
AliDar said at 8:07 p.m. on Jul 8, 2009:
Jude, where've you been grrl! we've been talking about pogo sticks for two years! Not only have we talked about corndogs and those sticks with the springs that kids jump on, the word's been used as a term of endearment, a reprimand, and now, in reference to the similarities between Vietnamese and Thai food. :)
Leftofcenter said at 9:19 a.m. on Jul 9, 2009:
< P > ? lol
Thx Jude, Cintia.

J'aime la première photo avec la vieille machine à coudre SINGER...un grand classique ici en Europe!
Leftofcenter said at 11:28 p.m. on Jul 9, 2009:
en Europe et surtout en Hollande, dans le jardin de ma petite soeur! hey, Karin :))))
Agdal said at 9:12 a.m. on Jul 10, 2009:
Toutes nos mères ou grand mères ont eu ou ont encore une "singer" dans un coin de la maison!Et l'on revoit des mains aimées activer la machine,un annulaire bagué de jade ou de turquoise : le temps est suspendu,le fil de la bobine se dévide,et celui du temps, celui des souvenirs....
Leftofcenter said at 10:12 a.m. on Jul 10, 2009:
Merci Joëlle, terminons sur cette note nostalgique et poétique, le temps suspendu...
Buschinho said at 2:36 p.m. on Jul 11, 2009:
you should really sleep at 4:08... ;-) but the idea and shot is really great!
Jack and Daniel Singer are classical
reminds me of my grandmo, I mean because of the Singer... not the Jack Daniels... :-)
Leftofcenter said at 8:42 p.m. on Jul 13, 2009:
I only drink Jack & Coke when I fly (I start @ the airport..) but 7 being my lucky number, I couldn't resist that shot! 4:08 couldn't sleep but I had left my NEW Olympus on the floor by the bed... I'm a tabbloER!! that's what tabbloERs do!!! :)))
Lifequest22 said at 9:46 p.m. on Jul 13, 2009:

Your pics are wonderful. It gives that sort of blue but beautiful feeling. Quiet, deep in thought and looking at your pics over the rim of a mug of warm coffee.
