What can I say, ANGELA? Vielen danken, my dear friend. I'm flattered (don't like this word, but it seems to be perfect for this occasion).

Can't wait to have this hanging on my wall. I have never been so colorful in my whole life...

I must also thank Charles for the photo (you and him make a killer team!) and Sue, Cida, Ira, Annelies, Eliane, Fábio & Andre, for their comments.

Once again, danke, thank you, muito obrigado! Hope you'll be shipping this painting soon...

To add to what Fabio said earlier....yours truly is living in Japan but I am an American. The painter I think is German and the great model is Brazilan....So... four continents were mixed up in making this tabblo !
Shenresi said at 11:52 a.m. on Jun 29, 2009:
yes, Charles, that`s true, like Fabio and Andreas said, that`s good networking around the world and I liked it very much to paint Eduardo and I liked it very much to make a paint from such a very good foto!!!
And now it`s time to say thx to Andre, of corse Fabio, our wonderful commentator, Eliane, Annelies, Ira, Papoula, Sue, Eduardo, Edite, Patty, Debbie, Pat, Jorma, Den, Enaldo, Mike, Charles, Karsten, Erich, Andreas, Patrick , for your wonderful comments around the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thx for submitting to the group From Photos to Paintings to Photos Angela...the more I look at the more i really love the colors chosen! This looks like chalk or possibly oil?? (dont thinks so) pastels????? MY FATHER DID quite a bit of both other than his oil paintings...THIS IS FEATURE tabblo now..AGAIN you are so very talented ....wish I could somehow learn from you....just watching would be incredible I'm sure! xox Patty

This is brilliant, Angela! Thanks for sharing...
Shenresi said at 1:29 a.m. on Jul 2, 2009:
thx again to Noreen and Patty. I take Acryl- colours, Patty, because they are drying fast and don`t smell. The painting is directly ready.
Pattymaryclare said at 2:24 a.m. on Jul 2, 2009:
Yes Angela i looked again and ZOOMED in and could then tell was paint...I TOO use only acrylics for the very same reasons PLUS i find it to be a very FORGIVING medium...i.e. I repainted "impressionist woman" aka MIRELLA (as Welshchick Rhonda named her :0) 7 YEARS after initial FIRST finished one....just never was quite happy with her lips, some of the shadow shades and skin tone! LUV ACRYLICS and sometime very very soon tho 2 years away from it now....am feeling the 'yen' again....out of TITANIUM WHITE THO...dried up!!l lol I oved some of the crackle pumice and other mixed media too...I THINK PHOTOGRAPHY satiated the creative void i'D FELT for the past 2 years. every tiime i SAT down to a blank white canvas i was SCARED...TO TAKE THAT FRST stroke......then sometimes i painted 8 hours easy and pumped out 3/4 in a row . It's been a LONG DRY SPELL but i must summon back up the courage to NOT feel i'm not good. YOU ARE INSPIRTING ME............pmc out! p.s. (like your idea of painting whole canvas white first and always usually did the dark color foreground then the lighter last...THANKS for lighting a little spark.........dear 'mentor' and friend. LONG COMMENT BUT FROM THE HEART. XOX patty
Liliana said at 9:45 p.m. on Jul 2, 2009:
Very interesting point of view , Angela. I really think you can express your ideas and feelings throgh the painting. It is very very good to see how art and real world are so different, it is a very good example.
