The Impossible Dream

This little feller watched the squirrels stand on the platform and lift up the lid to get at the peanuts.  He waited till they'd gone, then jumped up and tried to copy them.

 

All he could do was window-shop.  The task was impossible, which led me to think of the song, The Impossible Dream, which is one of my favorites.  I went to see Jack Jones in concert last year, and his live version of it was breathtaking.  I've added the link to it here, for any Man of La Mancha fans out there.

It's a nasty RAT. Some people have a fear of snakes and spiders. For me it's RATS. I put out rat poison for them to eat. They give me the creeps.
