The Beauty that Surrounds Us...

We live in a world that is filled with chaos, turmoil, and bedlam. The world is changing each and everyday, into a more modernized, technologically advanced planet. These pictures are the beauty that surrounds us in the midst of a chaotic world. The flowers in bloom, the calming waters, the wise trees. These were the things that made up the world before man, and these are the things that help make the world infinitively beautiful. These pictures were taken in parks, parking lots, and backyards. The world is all around us, beautiful wherever it grows. I look at the world and ask the question; "Can I see the beauty in the nature that surrounds me?" Can you?

Oh my! I'm nearly speechless! [I know, I know. Ya'll wish that would happen to me in class, not here on the internet...] I love just everything about this! Your comments are beautiful and just add to the message of your essay. Your editing choices are marvelous - I especially like that you made the shells a blue tone rather than a traditional pink - t really works with the black and white. The reflections are almost undetectable - that last photo looks like the real deal. It's hard to get decent water reflection photo, never mind a spectacular one like that! The order and the layout also contribute to the overall message. You show great depth in your thought and creativity. You also demonstrate here that you understand photography and its power. Just awesome, Mstengal. Awesome.

[oops... did I just gush?]
