I started off last Sunday kind of annoyed that the weather was keeping us from playing volleyball. But later in the day, Anne and I drove up the coast on our way back from running some errands, and were blown away by how violent the wind was out there. So we got home, I grabbed my camera, and headed back out to get some pictures. |

There was like a foot-thick layer of sand being blown around that really pelted your legs. Got in your eyes, too. |

It made for some very cool designs in the sand though. |

It was strange - the wind was blowing these trees west to east, but the clouds above were drifting east to west. Not sure how that works... |

It was some of the most violent seas I had ever seen out on our beach. |
