Josh finds some muffins.

Somewhere in this room, Michael has hidden some muffins.

 

Josh is determined to find them.

They could really be anywhere.

 

1:39AM.

 
"What about this light?"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The search continues, with passion.

 

1:50AM.

 
"Maybe they're in this hatch!"
 
"Ugh, I've looked everywhere!"
 
"Do you think he put them IN the guitar?"
 
"I havn't looked IN the printer!"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Things begin to get ridiculous.

 

2:06AM

 
"Maybe he put them inside the speakers!"
 
"I bet he taped them to the underside of this desk!"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He's caught the scent, between the boxspring and the mattress!

 

2:15AM.

 
Our explorer retires.
 
It ends.

"Well done. I'm proud of him."

I have a few questions. 1) What kind of boxspring is that? If the muffins were between the boxspring and the mattress, wouldn't the muffins be crushed? 2) What happened to lead up to the muffin search?

Here's the story:

I made these (chocolate chip) muffins, and as soon as they were cool enough to eat, I told Mike and Josh about them. Mike came downstairs first, and when Josh came down soon after, Mike decided Josh couldn’t have any, and ran, with the pan of muffins, into his room. Josh pursued, and jammed his hand into Mike's door. Even as I tried to keep him out, he barged his way in, but before he could get to them, I held him down enough for Mike to run into my room and lock the door.

Josh went and got a chair and sat outside my room for about 5 minutes while Mike decided what to do.

He then decided to hide them and make Josh look for them.


His trick was taking a bunch of my text books off of my dresser and making a little lean-to out of the mattress. However, when Josh stood, sat, and eventually laid on top of where they were hidden, they did get crushed a bit.

I documented the process, and we all felt that this was basically the best thing that's ever happened in this house.
