Cuba: back in time
 
Due to the embargo imposed, no cars were imported from USA after the 1950's. Typical Cuban cars (sometimes called yank-tanks) are mostly the ones seen here. Cubans fix and add new parts to these cars to keep them running after so many years.

Catedral de San Carlos Borromeo founded 1693.
 
On Bacunayagua bridge, 110 (360 ft) high spanning the Yumurí River.

Matanzas is an old, lazy town in between Varadero and Havana, it is the city of bridges and rivers - there are numerous bridges and rivers in this town.

Back in time... for us! Not for Cubans, though. This is their "present" time. Great angles. Wonderful pictures. Makes me wish to go back. To Cuba! Note how clean the streets are.
