This group will be devoted to the beauty of blur in images. Sometimes blur is created by images in motion. For example, the blur is created by the panning of the camera to keep up with the motion of a car or train or bicycle flying past. Or the delicate flutter of the wings of a hummingbird or butterfly can create a blur of the wings, indicating motion. Sometimes the central subject of the image may be blurred or perhaps only the background is blurred with the main subject in sharp focus. With all the wonderful software on the market such as Corel or Photoshop, sometimes the blur can be man-made. Soft vignetting around the outer edges of a portrait or even blur created by software plug-ins or filters can create lovely images. The blur in an image often creates a stunning capture so the the beautiful blur is what this group is all about.
